We were struck by the restaurant’s clean and well-styled vibe as soon as we walked in. The bright and trendy interior creates an inviting atmosphere that instantly made us feel comfortable. The modern yet warm decor provides the perfect backdrop for a relaxing meal.

The service was remarkably friendly and attentive, making us feel at ease. The staff was quick and informative about the menu, which set the stage for a delightful dining experience. The staff’s enthusiasm for the fresh ingredients was contagious, and it made us eager to sample what The Southern Salad had to offer.

Culinary Journey

Speaking of the menu, the variety available is impressive. With an abundance of vegan and vegetarian options, health-conscious diners will be thrilled with the selection. We loved the chance to build our own salads! We ordered three bowls—two that we created ourselves and one chosen from the menu by Kevin, aka “Dad.” This family-style approach allowed us to sample various flavors; every bite was fresh and delicious.

A standout feature of The Southern Salad is its commitment to using seasonal, farm-fresh, local ingredients. Their sister company, Clean Greens, operates a 1500 square foot hydroponic greenhouse that produces all of the lettuce, herbs, and other produce used in our bowls. The abundance of greens, grains, legumes, veggies, and fruits made it clear that this restaurant is dedicated to creating meals that are not only healthy but also sustainably sourced.
